Drivers and Teams,
First, thank you all for your continued support of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing series. We all appreciate you and your teams. Here is the post-race penalty report from Round 6 at Sparks NV. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Greg Foutz, Bill Smith or Ritchie Lewis.

Lucas Oil –2018 Sparks NV Round 6 Final Event Post-Race Report

Saturday

Prod. UTV

  1. Numbers not noted, had incidental contact in turn 1 on lap 6.

Turbo UTV

  1. #752 jump the restart, several were out of line, restart.
  2. #763 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 6.

Pro-4

  1. #99 & #81 had incidental contact in turn 1 on lap 1.
  2. #99 & #11 had incidental contact between turn 3 and 4 on lap 1.
  3. #99 & #81 had incidental contact in turn 1 on lap 3.
  4. #10 received a warning to hold their line.
  5. #10 & #11 had light contact between turn 3 & 4 on lap 8.
  6. #37 received a warning to keep their window net up while on the track.

Pro Buggy

  1. #59 & #? Had contact in turn 1 on lap 1. Reviewed, no call.
  2. #4 received a warning roof latch being loose on lap 5.
  3. #98 received a warning to hold their line on lap 5.
  4. #4 received a 2nd warning for their roof latch on lap 6.
  5. #59 & #? Had incidental contact in turn 1 on lap 7.
  6. #4 received a warning to hold their line on lap 7.
  7. #2 received a warning by safety team for not having fire resistance socks.

Pro Lite

  1. #97 & #5 had light contact in turn 3 on lap 2.
  2. #74 & #27 had incidental contact on front stretch on lap 2.
  3. #5 & #97 had light contact in turn 3 on lap 3.
  4. #5 received a warning to hold their line.
  5. #5 & #97 had light contact in turn 3 on lap 5.
  6. #94, #6 & #35 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact in turn 1 on lap 6.
  7. #97 & #5 had light contact in turn 3 on lap 6.
  8. #24 & # 21 had incidental contact on lap 7.
  9. #97 received a warning for being at the limit on light contact on lap 7.

Pro-2

  1. #1 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact in turn 1 on lap 7.
  2. #1 and #67 had contact in turn 2 on lap 7. Reviewed, no call.
  3. #1 & #70 had light contact on lap 10.

Mod Kart

  1. #519 received a warning for bumping before the restart.
  2. #565 & #583 received a black flag for jumping the restart on lap 4.
  3. #565 & #557 had light contact on lap 8.

JR 2 Kart

  1. #415 & #486 had incidental contact on lap 2.
  2. #471 received a warning for bumping before the restart.
  3. #483 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 4.
  4. #483 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 6.

JR 1 Kart

  1. #207 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 1.

NOTES:
Reminder, all Pro class drivers given or shown a black flag will serve a stop and go penalty for rough driving. Any driver who earns 2 black flags in any race will not be permitted to continue. If a Pro driver, already on Probation is given or shown the black flag that driver will serve a (1) one-lap penalty at minimum. All spotter conduct must be sportsmanlike. Once a truck is presented in Tech and or staging to engage in competition, if the spotter is deemed to be displaying unsportsmanlike conduct, the driver will be removed from competition immediately. Professionalism is the only accepted behavior that will be tolerated in the spotters stand, on track or in the pit area.
