Final Event Post-Race Report - UTAH

Drivers and Teams,
First, thank you all for your continued support of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing series.  We all appreciate you and your teams.  Here is the post-race penalty report from Round 5 and Round 6 at Utah Motorsports Campus.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Greg Foutz or Ritchie Lewis.

  1. #24 did not clear post qualifying technical inspection.  The qualifying time was removed and put to the back of the pack to start the race.

  1. #51 was disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct and for actions unbecoming of a LOORRS competitor within the post race inspection area thus earning no pay and no points for round 6. The #51 has been placed on probation for unsportsmanlike conduct and actions unbecoming of a LOORRS competitor for rounds 7,8,9, and 10 or the next four consecutive rounds the #51 competes within LOORRS.

  1. No Penalties#25 failed post race tech and was disqualified from the race. The #25 will not earn any pay or any points for round 6.

Spotter Conduct:

Other Issues:
1.    A crew member was confirmed by overwhelming evidence of tampering with the #51 race vehicle in the post-race technical inspection area. This was done in a manner which circumvented the technical inspection process. The crew member is now placed on probation and is banned from entering all technical inspection area’s and all pre and post race staging area’s indefinitely, this applies to all race vehicles the crewman may be associated with and he has received a $1,000.00 fine for his actions and the fine must be paid in full prior to the next LOORRS event.
2.    If either party is found to be out of compliance with the stated series mandates within this Post Race Penalty Report, either one or both may be penalized further at the discretion of the Series Director.

NOTES:
Reminder, all Pro class drivers given or shown a black flag will serve a stop and go penalty for rough driving.  Any driver who earns 2 black flags in any race will not be permitted to continue. If a Pro driver, already on Probation is given or shown the black flag that driver will serve a (1) one-lap penalty at minimum. All spotter conduct must be sportsmanlike.  Once a truck is presented in Tech and or staging to engage in competition, if the spotter or a team member is deemed to be displaying acts of unsportsmanlike conduct or circumventing the technical process, or making unapproved adjustments, the driver will be removed from competition immediately. Professionalism is the only accepted behavior that will be tolerated in the spotters stand, on track or in the pit area.
