If you fail to stick your grill in on the truck in front of you, the truck behind you will. When you constantly run on the edge, your margin of error is slim. Brandon “The Stinger” Arthur showed up for rounds 9 and 10 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA, looking for a win. He was on the podium both days in rounds 7 and 8 at Estero Beach, but he wanted the top spot.
San Bernardino, California (July 28, 2016) - Every driver will tell you, they want to be out front at the end of the race. Running the entire race in the lead is not always as desired. Instead of being the one putting pressure on those ahead, the entire pack has you in their sites. During round 9 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA, Darren “HotSauce” Hardesty Jr. started on the pole and led the race wire to wire. Hardesty refused to buckle under pressure from the Pro Buggy field which includes seasoned veterans and several hot young drivers like HotSauce himself.
9-time short course champion Carl Renezeder is always highly motivated to hit the race track. When the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series headed to Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California for rounds 9 and 10, he had even more inspiration to run hard.
Brian Deegan is running two different racing series this season, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS), and the Global Rallycross series (GRC). He is eager to add a Rallycross title to his long list of racing championships, so when scheduling conflicts between the two series arose; he chose to forgo LOORRS race weekends in Tooele, Utah and Ensenada, Baja Mexico.
