Final Event Post-Race Report - Estero Beach

Drivers and Teams,
First, thank you all for your continued support of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing series. We all appreciate you and your teams. Here is the post-race penalty report from Round 3 and Round 4 at Estero Beach. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Greg Foutz, Bill Smith or Ritchie Lewis.

Lucas Oil –2017 Estero Beach Round 3 Final Event Post-Race Report

Saturday

UTV

  1. #921 warned to stay on the racing surface in the whoop section on lap 8.
  2. #921 and #952 had incidental contact on lap 9.

Pro-4

  1. No penalties.

Pro-Lite

  1. #77 warned for contact at the limit on light contact on lap 6.
  2. #51 black flag for reentry onto the racing surface in an unsportsmanlike manner and making contact with the #97.
  3. #97 warned to get off the gas when outside of the track limits on lap 8.

Pro Buggy

  1. #17 warned to get off the gas when outside of the track limits on lap 5.

Pro-2

  1. #37 warned to get off the gas when outside of the track limits on lap 9.
  2. #38 warned to hold their line.
  3. #36 warned to get off the gas when outside of the track limits.

Spotter Conduct Issues:

UTV

  1. #942 warned to hold their line on lap 5.
  2. #942 warned for being at the limit of light contact.

Pro-4

  1. #24 & #11 had contact, ruled incidental on lap 3.
  2. #17 warned for being at the limit of light contact on lap 3.
  3. #10 & #21 had contact on lap 9, ruled incidental.
  4. #32 jumped the restart on lap 11, gave the position back, no penalty.

Pro Lite

  1. #6 warned for being at the limit of light contact.
  2. #35 warned to get off the gas when outside of the track limits.
  3. #35 warned to hold their line.
  4. #97 black flag for jumping the restart.

Pro-Buggy

  1. #62 & #3 had contact, ruled incidental.

Pro-2

  1. Before the start, warned to race clean, too much contact in round 3.
  2. #37 black flag for heavy contact.

NOTES:
Reminder, all Pro class drivers given or shown a black flag will serve a stop and go penalty for rough driving. Any driver who earns 2 black flags in any race will not be permitted to continue. If a Pro driver, already on Probation is given or shown the black flag that driver will serve a (1) one-lap penalty at minimum. All spotter conduct must be sportsmanlike. Once a truck is presented in Tech and or staging to engage in competition, if the spotter is deemed to be displaying unsportsmanlike conduct, the driver will be removed from competition immediately. Professionalism is the only accepted behavior that will be tolerated in the spotters stand, on track or in the pit area.
