Lucas Oil –2017 Utah Round 5 Final Event Post-Race Report

Saturday

Mod Karts

  1. #554 warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 4.
  2. #514 warning for going to fast under yellow flag conditions on lap 4.
  3. #517 warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 6.
  4. #519 & 548 told to settle down on lap 8

UTV

  1. #928 & 948 told to race clean on lap 3.
  2. #948 warned to hold their line on lap 8.

Pro-4

  1. #96 warned to get off the gas when outside of the track limits on lap 5.
  2. #17, #32 & #11 warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 6.
  3. #37 warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 8.
  4. #24 warned for roosting #11 under yellow flag conditions on lap 8.
  5. #37 & #32 had contact on lap 9. Reviewed, no call.
  6. #81 & #17 had contact on lap 11. Incidental.

Pro-Lite

  1. #23 warned to hold their line on lap 3.
  2. #35 & #52 had contact on lap 5. Reviewed, no call.
  3. #12 warned to hold their line on lap 10.
  4. #77 warned to hold their line on lap 11.
  5. #38 warned to hold their line on lap 12.
  6. #51 warned to hold their line on lap 12.

Pro Buggy

  1. No penalties.

  1. #515 warned for bumping before the start.
  2. #578 warned for trying to start early and bumping on the start.
  3. #502 warned to hold their line.
  4. #502 & ? made contact on lap 3. Reviewed, incidental.
  5. #517 warned to hold their line on lap 6.

UTV

  1. #952 black flag for heavy contact with #948 on lap 10.

Pro-4

  1. #10 warned to hold their line on lap 2.
  2. #96 warned for being at the limit of light contact on lap 4.
  3. #24 warned to hold their line on lap 5.
  4. #32 & #17 had contact on lap 10. Reviewed, light contact.
  5. #11 warned for speeding under yellow flag conditions.
  6. #32 made heavy contact with the #99, that resulted in several others getting tangled together. #32 was give a black flag for the heavy contact.
  7. #10 black flag for heavy contact on lap 12.

Pro Lite

  1. #94 warned to hold their line on lap 1
  2. #23 warned for being at the limit of light contact on lap 1
  3. #67 warned to hold their line on lap 3.
  4. #97 warned to hold their line on lap 5.
  5. #33 & #97 to settle down on lap 6.
  6. #23 & #97 had contact. Reviewed, no call.
  7. #23 warned to hold their line on lap 10.

Pro-Buggy

  1. #77 & #3 had contact on lap 2. Reviewed, incidental.
  2. #74 & #3 had contact on lap 3. No call.

NOTES:
Reminder, all Pro class drivers given or shown a black flag will serve a stop and go penalty for rough driving. Any driver who earns 2 black flags in any race will not be permitted to continue. If a Pro driver, already on Probation is given or shown the black flag that driver will serve a (1) one-lap penalty at minimum. All spotter conduct must be sportsmanlike. Once a truck is presented in Tech and or staging to engage in competition, if the spotter is deemed to be displaying unsportsmanlike conduct, the driver will be removed from competition immediately. Professionalism is the only accepted behavior that will be tolerated in the spotters stand, on track or in the pit area.
