First, thank you all for your continued support of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing series. We all appreciate you and your teams. Here is the post-race penalty report from Rounds 4 & 5 at Wheatland. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Greg Foutz, Bill Smith or Ritchie Lewis.

Lucas Oil –2018 Wheatland Round 4 Final Event Post-Race Report

Saturday

J2 Karts

  1. #24 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 3.
  2. #24 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact.

J1 Karts

  1. No incidents reported.

Mod Karts

  1. #583 & #544 received a warning for having a race receiver.
  2. #574 & #? had incidental contact on lap 5.
  3. #574 & #? had light contact on lap 7.

Turbo UTV

  1. #41 & #48 & #42 had incidental contact in turn 7 on lap 1.
  2. #91 & #42 had incidental contact on lap 2'
  3. #91 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 5.

Pro-2

  1. #37 received a black flag for heavy contact in turn 7 on lap 5.
  2. #38 & #77 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 6.
  3. #77 received a warning for a tire coming apart on lap 8.
  4. #77 received a black flag for passing the flag stand twice with a tire coming apart.

Prod. UTV

  1. #923 received a black flag for heavy contact in turn 7 lap not noted.
  2. #980 received a warning for attempting to jump the restart.
  3. #980 received a warning for aggressive driving on lap 4.
  4. #923 received a warning for a tire coming apart on lap 9.

Pro Buggy

  1. #15 & #? had incidental contact in turn 1 on lap 1.
  2. #3, #61 & #59 had incidental contact in turn 2 on lap 1.
  3. #74 received a warning for being off the track and on the gas on lap 3.
  4. #59 & #94 had incidental contact on lap 6.
  5. #5 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 6.
  6. #17 & #99 had incidental contact in turn 6 on lap 6.
  7. #2 & #74 had light contact in turn 3 on lap 9.
  8. #2 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 9.

Pro Lite

  1. #59 & #97 had light contact on lap 1.
  2. #5 & #94 had light contact in turn 3 on lap 1.
  3. #12 & #52 had light contact in turn 9 on lap 9.

  1. No incidents to report.

Prod UTV

  1. #931 received a warning for not wearing gloves on lap 3.
  2. #931 received a warning for not wearing gloves on lap 4.
  3. #931 received a black flag for not wearing safety apparel on lap 5.
  4. #931 scoring stopped for not complying on lap 7.

Pro-4

  1. #99 & #81 had light contact on lap 1.
  2. #11 & #81 had light contact in turn 3 on lap 5.
  3. #99 received a warning a tire shredding on lap 7.
  4. #10 & #81 had heavy contact in turn 9 on lap 8.
  5. #81 received a waning for a shredding tire on lap 8.
  6. #10 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 9.
  7. #99 did not change the shredding tire. Lap 9.
  8. #99 receives a black flag for not changing shredding tire.

Pro Buggy

  1. #3 & #17 had incidental contact on lap 4.
  2. #59 spun and collected #3 in turn 2 on lap 6.
  3. #5 received a black flag for heavy contact in turn 2 on lap 7.

Pro Lite

  1. #44 & #97 had incidental contact on lap 1.
  2. #6 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 2.
  3. #51 received a warning for not holding their line on lap 5.
  4. #5 & #97 had light contact on lap 5.
  5. #94 & #44 had incidental contact on a jump on lap 6.
  6. #94 received a warning to hold their line on lap 7.

Pro-2

  1. #24 & #37 had light contact in turn 1 on lap 1.
  2. #24 & #38 had light contact in turn 1 on lap 2.
  3. #77 & #38 had light contact on lap 2.
  4. #36 & #38 had incidental contact on lap 4.
  5. #24 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 5.
  6. #38 received a warning for being at the limit of light contact on lap 6.
  7. #24 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 6.
  8. #24 had heavy contact again on lap 7.
  9. #37 & #1 have heavy contact in turn 5 on lap 9. Both at fault.

Jr 2

  1. #428 received a warning for starting early on a restart on lap 4. Was the leader.
  2. #423 & #483 had incidental contact in turn 1 on lap 5.
  3. #412 jumped the restart, directed to give the position back.

Jr 1

  1. No incidents to report.

Mod Karts

  1. #583 jumped the start, directed to give the position back.
  2. #583 received a black flag for jumping the restart on lap 3.
  3. #578 received a black flag for heavy contact on lap 3.

Spotter Conduct: NONE

NOTES:
Reminder, all Pro class drivers given or shown a black flag will serve a stop and go penalty for rough driving. Any driver who earns 2 black flags in any race will not be permitted to continue. If a Pro driver, already on Probation is given or shown the black flag that driver will serve a (1) one-lap penalty at minimum. All spotter conduct must be sportsmanlike. Once a truck is presented in Tech and or staging to engage in competition, if the spotter is deemed to be displaying unsportsmanlike conduct, the driver will be removed from competition immediately. Professionalism is the only accepted behavior that will be tolerated in the spotters stand, on track or in the pit area.
