Advance Tickets Discounted For Off Road Shootout; One VIP Package Remains For Next Week's Event

Wheatland, Missouri (June 13, 2018) - With just over a week remaining until the 2nd Annual GEICO Off Road Shootout Presented by General Tire returns to Lucas Oil Speedway's Off Road track, fans can save money by purchasing tickets in advance.

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series event is set for Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24. Passes for the entire weekend or for individual days are available online and offer a discount.

Off Road tickets, whether for the weekend or for Saturday's action, also include admission to the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series on the dirt oval on Saturday night, June 23.

"Our first GEICO Off Road Shootout a year ago was a smashing success and anticipation is high as the series returns for year two," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said. "While it likely will be hot again, we want to remind fans that we have large, covered grandstands for the day-time races. We look forward to seeing everyone next week."

Admissions Director Nichole McMillan said that one VIP Skybox package remains for the GEICO Off Road Shootout Presented by General Tire. That package, available for either day or both days offers prime viewing atop the shaded grandstands, with the following: 

  • A 20 x 20 area with furniture and tables, a VIP host and dedicated grandstand seating for guests.
  • 25 VIP Skybox credentials and tickets.
  • Dedicated VIP staff and security for sky box area.
  • 25 VIP meals included on race day with soda, water and adult beverages provided. Additional meals or drinks can be ordered.

Spectator gates will open at 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday with practice starting at 8:30 a.m. followed by qualifying. A drivers' autograph session is set for 11 a.m. with Junior Kart, Mod Kart and Turbo UTV races beginning at 11:30 a.m. Opening ceremonies are at 2 p.m., followed by the Pro 2, UTV, Pro Buggy, Pro Lite and Pro 4 races.

Meanwhile, action on the dirt track resumes this Saturday night with the Midseason Championships Presented by the Bolivar Herald-Free Press. Gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 and opening ceremonies at 7. Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, Missouri. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available.
