Exciting TV schedule for LOORRS in 2018

Monday, February 26, 2018

Corona, California (February 26, 2018) – As the season-opening Glen Helen event draws nearer, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, presented by GEICO, is proud to announce its broadcast lineup for 2018. With perhaps the strongest airing lineup yet, this will be a great year for fans, who will have a plethora of content and avenues on which to enjoy watching their favorite drivers.

Kicking things off in this, the 10th season for the series, will be the airing of Glen Helen 1, our season opener, LIVE in HD on MAVTV. For the live broadcast of Glen Helen 1 on MAVTV, Ken Stout will return as host, with Bob Dillner doing color, and Rob Klepper covering pit reporting duties. All subsequent airings on MAVTV will also feature Stout and Klepper, with Cameron Steele doing the color commentary, and that same trio will also be your lineup on our CBS and CBSSN shows. This year, there will be nine hours of series programming on CBS, and 32 hours apiece on CBSSN and MAVTV.

As for our live streaming online coverage through the LORTV website, LucasOilRacing.TV, there will be live coverage of all 11 of our championship rounds this year, as well the season-ending Lucas Oil Challenge Cup. Here, Dave Arnold and Bob Dillner will again team up to call all of the action.

Another exciting nugget is that the highly popular Production 1000 UTV class will now get TV airtime at each round, and the new Production Turbo UTV class will also get TV coverage at select rounds- just another reason to get off the couch and into this sport at its grassroots level!

Whether you're a driver or a fan, there will be plenty of Lucas Oil Off Road racing to watch, as well as plenty of ways to watch it.
