Season opener sells out in Arizona

Thursday, April 19, 2018

Corona, CA (April 19, 2018) – Hot on the heels of our first race weekend of the season, we here at the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, presented by GEICO, would like to send a huge thank you to our incredible fans out in Arizona, who've been supporting the series in force ever since we first ventured into the Valley of the Sun back in our first season, 2009. Now in our tenth season, we are extremely pleased to see that our fans are still packing the stands, as evidenced by the fact that this past weekend's season opener drew a sellout crowd at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. We are thrilled to have our fans in the stands, wherever our series travels, and even happier to do our best to put on an exciting show that will keep you coming back to future races.

Tickets went fast for our Chandler-based Round 1 event, and while it's still several months out, it's never too early to start thinking about our series' return to Wild Horse Pass for the final race weekend of the 2018 season. Set for October 20-21, this weekend of action will feature the 11th and final round of the 2018 National Championship on Saturday the 20th, as well as the ever-popular Lucas Oil Challenge Cup on Sunday the 21st. We had some outstanding racing action here in Round 1, as well as a bevy of new activities for kids and adults alike to enjoy in the Midway area, and our season-closing weekend in October will doubtless feature more excitement on both fronts. Our two-day event will allow twice as many fans to get to experience some part of the race weekend's action, and if sales for Round 1 are any indication, tickets will be going fast for that final race weekend of the year as well, so head on over to now to get your tickets today!
