After many months of negotiations between drivers and teams, new partnership formations, new vehicle construction, and miles and miles of winter testing, it's finally time for the drivers and teams of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, presented by GEICO, to come together once again in the grand trial of competition. No more rumors, whispering, or wondering; now everyone must put their cards on the table and show what they've got. Who will have what it takes to win, and who will be left wondering what they got wrong? Who will grab the early season momentum, and who will be scrambling to catch up?
ROCKSTAR Energy Drink’s Rob MacCachren finished second in series points in both SCORE International’s Trophy Truck class and Lucas Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Pro2 Unlimited in 2011. Anyone who has ever met Rob Mac knows that he doesn’t settle for second place though; his unyielding drive to be the best is how he has accumulated an astounding 192 career victories in the desert and short course. For 2012 MacCachren is pulling out all the stops, and after wins in Laughlin and San Felipe he is leading SCORE International points in the premier Trophy Truck class. MacCachren is also fresh off the Trick Truck win with teammate Steve Sourapas at last weekend’s Mint 400.
