Lucas Oil Off Road Is Back

After many months of negotiations between drivers and teams, new partnership formations, new vehicle construction, and miles and miles of winter testing, it's finally time for the drivers and teams of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, presented by GEICO, to come together once again in the grand trial of competition. No more rumors, whispering, or wondering; now everyone must put their cards on the table and show what they've got. Who will have what it takes to win, and who will be left wondering what they got wrong? Who will grab the early season momentum, and who will be scrambling to catch up?

ROCKSTAR Energy Drink’s Rob MacCachren finished second in series points in both SCORE International’s Trophy Truck class and Lucas Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Pro2 Unlimited in 2011.  Anyone who has ever met Rob Mac knows that he doesn’t settle for second place though; his unyielding drive to be the best is how he has accumulated an astounding 192 career victories in the desert and short course.  For 2012 MacCachren is pulling out all the stops, and after wins in Laughlin and San Felipe he is leading SCORE International points in the premier Trophy Truck class.  MacCachren is also fresh off the Trick Truck win with teammate Steve Sourapas at last weekend’s Mint 400.

Riverside, California (March 28, 2012) - 2011 Superteam of the Year, Stronghold Motorsports, will be coming out firing when the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series kicks off March 31st at Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Arizona. With a lineup featuring seven-time Supercross champion,  Jeremy McGrath alongside XGames Gold medalist and action sports icon, Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg leading the charge in the marquis Pro2 class, Stronghold Motorsports will be firing on all cylinders for this weekend's short course off road racing season opener.

CORONA, CA -  Lucas Oil Products, Inc. and Lucas Oil Production Studios are pleased to announce the most comprehensive television package in the history of short course off road racing. The 2012 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series television coverage will include 62 hours of original programming along with 168 hours of guaranteed re-airings for a total of 230 hours of exposure spread across five major networks; CBS, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, SPEED and MAVTV.
